Dinesh Aggarwal

Company Secretary & Chief Financial Officer


Mr Aggarwal has over 20 years of experience in Accounting & Tax, Finance and Business Management in senior corporate positions, both in Australia and overseas, and is presently the Managing Director of Fortuna Advisory Group. As a diversified public practice firm, Fortuna Advisory Group is a winner of several awards including the prestigious Mutli-service firm of the Year 2019 (Australian Accounting Awards).

As the Principal, Dinesh advises Australian subsidiaries of major international groups, listed companies, a large variety of SMEs and a significant base of high net-worth individuals. Besides providing virtual CFO services to many groups, he also provides specialist advice on Self-managed Superfunds and handles objections with the ATO and appeals at the Tribunal level. One of his more prominent wins is the landmark case Dr Evelynne Wong v. Commissioner of Taxation [AATA 2011/3450]: share trader vs share investor.

A highly acknowledged professional, Mr Aggarwal has been Chairman of the CPA (WA) Public Practice Committee and a member of CPA Australia Public Practice Advisory Committee. Among his various achievements, he won the CPA 40 Under 40 Young Business Leaders’ Award in 2012 and 2013; and was also a finalist in the SME Tax Adviser of the Year 2015 (Tax Institute of Australia).

Dinesh sits on the board of several companies and not for profit organisations including the Wanneroo Business Association as its elected President.

Avigyan Bera



Mr Bera has over 13 years of experience handling EPC projects in India and overseas. He has been involved in projects across the globe including India, Zambia, South Africa, Liberia, Namibia, Mongolia, Iran, UAE, Bulgaria and Morocco. Starting his career in process engineering for mineral beneficiation plants and complex chemical process plants, Mr Bera then migrated to project management and business development activities in India, Africa and the Middle East.

Mr Bera joined AHRL in 2020 and brings with him the experience and technical knowledge required for executing owner managed projects, along with vendor contacts and key knowledge in project execution and overall management skills.

Tina Newbon

Office Manager

Mrs Newbon joined Alara in 2011 as Executive Assistant to the CEO and has since been involved in many aspects of the business including office administration, human resources, corporate affairs, finance, leasing/relocation, ASX requirements and IT management.

Mrs Newbon is a highly experienced administrator with over 18 years of administration, finance and project experience including BHP Billiton, WA Gas Networks, Shell Australia and BGC Blokpave.

Rexin Kamilas

Finance and Administrative Manager

Mr Kamilas is an experienced administrator who has been working for over eight years in Oman. He joined Alara in 2011 as an Administrative and Accounting Assistant and has since been involved in business procurement, auditing, leasing, travel, insurance, banking and payroll for the company’s projects in both Saudi Arabia and Oman.

Venkatesan Ganesan

Corporate Financial Adviser (AHRL)


Mr Ganesan joined Alara in September 2017. He runs a boutique advisory services firm in Dubai and India.

Mr Ganesan has spent over 15 years in a Big-4 financial advisory practice and has advised a variety of industrial clients on transaction matters. He also spent six years in an upstream E&P business at the start of his career. Mr Ganesan is currently assisting Alara in optimising development stage capital.

Fadi Zenaty

Operations Manager (AHRL)

Mr Zenaty has over 15 years of profession experience in Saudi Arabia in mining and construction projects in the Middle East. He brings a vast knowledge of corporate operations and economic evaluation in building projects from the ground up.

Fadi was a key person in obtaining the exploration and mining licences for Al Khnaiguiyah Zinc & Copper and other key mining projects. He has a wide and solid knowledge of the governmental processes in the Middle East. He brings a strong track record achievement of being able to navigate the governmental rules and techno mining information requirements to ensure project success.

Mr Zenaty has significant experience in day to day corporate operations related to management, finance and engineering requirements for the projects that he leads. His background also includes specialised roles in organisation systems analysis and IT development in improving the overall operations of the corporations which he is engaged in improving.

Lakshman R. Muthyam

Administrative Officer


Mr Muthyam is an experienced Administration and Information Technology professional who has a key role in developing and improving corporate information management systems and infrastructure. He brings a wide range of administrative support experience related to office management and document control systems and understands the importance of IT back-up systems. He has knowledge in information technology systems planning and project implementation.

Mr Muthyam continues to build on his professional IT certifications which are enhancing our multi-company cloud-based office administration information systems.
